Senior Course Reserve Coordinator, Library / 图书馆高级助理

Position Summary

The NYU Shanghai Library seeks a passionate and service-oriented Senior Librarary Assistant -Course Reserve Coordinator. Reporting to the Head of Access Services, the successful candidate is responsible for coordinating course reserve services, including physical and electronic reserves. The person works collaboratively with a team of library assistants to support a variety of library services such as circulation, space management and resource sharing. The person is expected to provide high touch user-services and be tasked with solving comprehensive operational problems independently. Some weekend and evening hours may be required.

Evening and Weekend Circulation Coordinator (third-party contract) / 图书馆助理 (第三方合同)

Position Summary

The NYU Shanghai Library seeks a service-oriented Evening and Weekend Circulation Coordinator. Reporting to the Head of Access Services, the person works collaboratively with a team of dedicated library assistants to support a variety of library services such as circulation, course reserves, and resource sharing. The successful candidate also takes a leadership role in managing all responsibilities during weekends and evenings.  The person is expected to provide high touch user-services and be able to resolve problems in accordance with established policies and procedures independently. The work requires the employee to have good knowledge, skill and ability in library clerical functions and be willing to assist in ad-hoc projects. Weekend and evening hours are required.
