China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) was co-founded by the Chinese government and European Union (EU) in 1994, with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the EFMD serving as its executive partners. CEIBS has campuses in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Accra in Ghana, and Zurich in Switzerland. CEIBS offers MBA, Finance MBA, EMBA, Global EMBA, Hospitality EMBA, DBA (Switzerland), and Executive Education programmes. CEIBS was the first business school on the Chinese mainland to be accredited by both EQUIS and AACSB.

 

CEIBS has one library in Shanghai and two book bars in Beijing and Shenzhen. The library and book bars provide patrons with a pleasant environment for reading and relaxation. The main library based on the Shanghai Campus was founded in 1995 and named after its donor, Global Sources Information Centre. The 3-storey library has over 2,500 square meters of floorage, elegantly surrounded by reflecting pools constructed of polished black granite. The Economics and Management collections are the heart of the CEIBS Libraries. To keep pace with changes in science, technology and information formats, the Libraries are in constant pursuit of E-resources, as well as print resources to serve the teaching, research and administrative needs of the School.

 

Job Responsibility:

● Develop and provide faculty liaison services

● Coordinating research-related educational services

● Responsible for maintaining and upgrading the Institutional Repository

● Providing quality reference services for the research

● Other administrative support

 

Job Requirements:

● Bachelor degree or above, MLIS Preferred

● 3+years of relevant working experience

● Strong communication skills and good command of written and verbal English

● Familiar with kinds of standards & tools in Library Sciences

● Excellent skills on Information Retrieval

● The related knowledge on business disciplines is preferred

● The experience in overseas school is appreciated

● Self-motivated and good team player
